I decided to base the animatic in the rick and morty style since I am animating a Podcast segment in which Dan Harmon narrates something that sounds straight out of the show.

Storyboard Artist

For this class i intend to focus on technique. This includes beat structure, telling the story through pantemime. My reason for doing this is so i can expand my animating skills in order to be able to materialize my Troubadour story (a feat which i now see is too grand for my current output) Long story short i want to become a machine that spews out work. and to get there i am starting saqure one (kind of).
I will be working with an audio clip that is an interview of Dan Harmon where he illustrates very comedic scenerios and social commentary. the Storyboards will cover around 1-2 minutes of the clip. This will then be turned into an animatic.

Week 1: Pre-Production (Character design, set, Thumbanails)
Week 2: Finish Thumbanials begin Storyboards
Week 3: Work on Storyboard
Week 4: Add Extra Shots (min 3)
Week 5:Work on Storyboard
Week 6:Work on animatic
Week 7:Work on animatic
Week 8: Add alternative shots
Week 9: finish
Week 10:Turnin/finish
